I feel like I should just give up on doing homework and replay Legend of Mana.
I know its dorky, but certain games, specifically rpgs, hold distinct memories and feelings from when I played them. I'm not talking about just my mood that one day when I played something, I mean the feeling that the story and characters give you.
Its why Anime Conventions are so interesting to me. Yeah its dorky and people get obsessed, but deep down those video games, anime, and manga all make everyone feel some way, and its fun to share that and know that others have experienced something similar.
...yup, I am procrastinating.

If you have not ever had Cambodian and/or Malaysian food, I suggest you fix that.
Went to the Elephant Walk in Boston (mebbe it was in Cambridge, wasn't paying attention) and OMFG delicious food party. I ate these neat spring roll things filled with awesome and you wrap them in like, lettuce and dip them in some weird sauce stuff. Then I ate a garlic soup that was also amazing. Theennnn this like, chicken/scallion/red pepper/onion thing in amazing sauce with rice and IT WAS AMAZING. By then I was thinking I should vomit with happiness because I was so full BUT WAIT, DESSERT. Some fruity mousse stuff in an almond crunchy bowl thingy and then pineapples and fancy fruit sauce on the side and then I died. I totes couldn't pronounce anything and didn't want to look like a tard so I just pointed for the waiter who was all 'lawl its ok I can't even say them and I work here lawl".

When I went to California for SATA IO testing event in Milpitas the last day we had of testing (Thursday?) everyone (mostly UNH IOL peeps and our Agilent friends) went out to this place called Banana Leaf and I don't think I have ever been so amazed by food in...ever. It was a similar prefixed taste menu like Elephant Walk except the more people that went in on it the more dishes you got. Since we had around 10 people, we got a shit ton of food...and it was like $22 each? I can't even tell you all the things I ate but they were all amazing. One of my favorites was the Pineapple fried rice, and oh yeah, the 2 amazing Pomegranate Martinis with lychee in them YES. There were 2 different tasting menus so we sort of split into 2 groups and shared everything. The following is most of what I consumed that night:

Google tells me there is a Banana Leaf in New York so.....next time I visit Manda I NEED TO GO.
Srsly guys, this food is so good...I would give up hamburgers and pizza for this in a second.

I read the first volume at Baku-con because they were doing a little manga library thing. I only picked it up because Zante was all OMG ITS AMAZING WHY HAVEN'T YOU HEARD OF IT. It is pretty badass.

I mean, you can fuck DURING the morning...yeah.
I'm not a morning person, and never have been although throughout my life I've been getting up at stupid early times (ex: 4:30 AM in high school to shower before my Dad woke up and arrive at school at 6 AM to do my work-job. Yes, redundant term is redundant.) and it sucks.
Also because I have my masters in procrastination, I decided to start and finish a take home test last night that was given to me on Monday. One that consisted of 3 questions where I had to write 5 paragraphs each and then another question that totaled to 8 paragraphs. I think I started it around 9:30, dicked off online a bunch, talked to people, refreshed lippy_addicts 400 times, and finished it at 3 AM. It was to the point where I wasn't even really thinking about what I was typing, just auto-pilot bullshit essay-ing. Mind you, this is only 80% of the test. The rest was in class. I DID NOT STUDY FOR THIS since I decided my 6:30 AM alarm was stupid, proceeded to turn it off, and luckily woke up at 7:40 AM. Oshit, I have to leave by 8:20 to get to Manch at 9 AM. So yeah, I was flailing and telling myself that 20% of something that is 15% of my overall grade really doesn't matter much if I get no credit for it. Now I am just happy that I didn't fucking study for it because it was a joke.
9 AM, arrive at class, hand in 5 pages of not-read-over bullshit essays. Watch the teacher talk about some chapters I already read, listen to her explain that the guest speaker is sick and how we all did a pretty ok job on last weeks presentations. Then the rest of the test. IT WAS 20 DEFINITION MATCHING TERMS. Seriously, I could have gotten at least 80% of them right not even reading anything from our book. So yeah, lame. I'm mostly pissed off that I spent gas on 80 minutes of driving to and from Manchester for 45 minutes of class. Whatever.
Ok, back to my original point: brain doesn't work in the morning. During my rush to put on yesterdays clothes and jewelry, I decided that I should at least make my face slightly less hideous with some makeups. So, concealer is a good option. I drop it. It spills all over my rug....my printer on the floor....some got on my T.V. When I say I dropped it, I mean I had a mini seizure-flail type thing where I sort of chuck things. Its happened with my toothbrush, as well as a playstation controller. So yeah, that was fun semi-cleaning up and still trying to run out the door and speed down 101 to get to class on time.
FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF I think I'll go play some Spyro now.

Thursday night was awesome
Banana Leaf = delicious Malaysian food
I had 2 pomegranate martinis
Packing that night sucked, didn't get to bed until 1 AM
Left Friday at 10 AM and drove to Monterrey Bay Aquarium and saw sea animals.
Then drove through awesome scenery with windy roads to Golden Gate Bridge.
Stopped at the View Point and took pictures and walked some of it.
Drove into San Fran and dropped Blake and Carleton at Super 8 and then went to the airport.
Flight SUCKED.
I THINK I slept some? I don't know. Ugggghh red eye flight is not fun.
Got into Boston at 7 AM, Jeffy picked me up and then I fell asleep in his bed from 8:30 - 2.
Ate sushis, saw 'The Hangover' (is funny) and bought some bras.
Cali was awesome and I need to move to that coast.
Pictures will come ASAP, Carleton and Blake took many and we will combine all of ours for awesome.

Company overview/party thing last night....free booze.
Awesome sushi last night, and sake.

I haven't paid for anything so far other than some bottled water and red bull (for Andy) at Safeway.
Jamba juice is still cool.
Finisar thing tonight....buses to the fancy museum thing, free foodz and booze again.
Oh and I'm getting paid for 40 hours this week, on top of the per diem...of which I haven't spent any of.

Embassy Suites is super fancy:
the bed is big enough for 3 people
there is koi pond
my room has 2 large flat screen tvs
free breakfast
the terrain is very different.
